Strepelle uses PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), which is similar to the technology which is used to test for Covid antigens.

PCR is both rapid and highly accurate and enables our laboratory to report results for Strep B on the same day, if samples are received before 11.00 AM*. This fast turnaround time is particularly important for pregnant women who are using the test close to full term.
